Punto de Quiebra el remake
Hace más de un mes se anunció que se llevaría a cabo el remake de Punto de Quiebra, ( si la película con surfistas criminales infiltrados por el FBI para detenerlos, si lo sé; no una gran trama pero si una peli dominguera) y ahora por fin se tienen a los dos actores que protagonizarán la película. Gerard Butler (300) y Luke Bracey (J.I. Joe: La venganza) serán los encargados de darle vida a los personajes principales Bodhi (el malo) y Johnny Utah (el bueno, agente del FBI). La producción empezará en el verano.

LUKE BRACEY TO COSTAR WITH GERARD BUTLER IN ALCON ENTERTAINMENT’S REBOOT OF CLASSIC ACTION THRILLER ‘POINT BREAK’
LOS ANGELES, CA., FEBRUARY 24, 2014 — Luke Bracey will join Gerard Butler in Alcon Entertainment’s remake of the classic 1991 action-thriller POINT BREAK, it was announced by Alcon co-founders and co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson.
Bracey will play the role of Johnny Utah, a young FBI agent who goes undercover to infiltrate a criminal gang in the world of international extreme sports. Ericson Core (“Invincible”) is directing Kurt Wimmer’s (“Salt,” “Law Abiding Citizen,” “Total Recall”) screenplay.
Alcon’s Kosove and Johnson secured rights to the project from RGM Media, John McMurrick and Chris Taylor. Kosove and Johnson will produce along with John Baldecchi, Taylor and Kurt Wimmer. RGM Media principal Devesh Chetty and investor John McMurrick, Chairman of Marloss Entertainment, will serve as Executive Producers.
Bracey most recently co-starred in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.” He will next be seen in the upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation “The Best of Me” starring Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden for Relativity.
At the most recent American Film Market, “Point Break” was an international success story, quickly selling out all rights worldwide, with many foreign distributors returning time and again with numerous counter bids. The film will be released domestically via Warner Bros through Alcon’s long-term distribution pact. Principal photography is set to begin early this summer.
